DESCRIPTION: WW - Omega Speedmaster Ed White Pre-Moon, ref 105.003-64, manual wind, 39mm x 48mm to lug tips, 19mm lug width, original stainless steel screw back case with engraved hippocampus to the case back, black DON tachymeter bezel, brown leather strap, original black dial with applied silver Omega logo and luminous painted indices, three inset subregisters for minute recording, hour recording and subsidiary seconds, 17J, cal 321, s#22089199, triple signed. A fabulous watch from the early days of Omega, famed for being the watch worn by Astronaut Ed White during his space walk.
CONDITION: Mvt: Running, chronograph functions and resets however the hour recorder does not reset to zero, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, hardly any oxide to steelwork; excellent dial with light surface spotting luminous painted indices appear to have been retouched with more fresh lume; fine hands with darker faded luminous material, later flat bottom sweep; polished case shows light wear, several dings to case back, lugs and sides; original Omega signed flat foot crown shows little wear; good plastic crystal.
